1. Kumar Mangalam Birla
CA Kumar Mangalam Birla is the Chairman of the $40 billion Aditya Birla Group. It is India’s third largest business house that is spread across 36 nations in six continents.
Birla took over as chairman of the Aditya Birla Group in 1995, at the age of 28, following the death of his father Aditya Vikram Birla. During his tenure as chairman, the group’s annual turnover has expanded from US$3.33 Billion in 1995 to US$41 billion in 2015.
2. Deepak Parekh
Deepak Parekh is the Chairman of Housing Development Finance Corporation, India’s leading housing finance company. He joined Housing Development Finance Corporation in 1978.
He is the youngest recipient of the prestigious Corporate Award for Life Time Achievement by the Economic Times.”Padma Bhushanwas” conferred on him by the Government of India. In 2010 he was the first international recipient of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales’ Outstanding Achievement Award.
3. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is a qualified Chartered Accountant who began investing with an paltry amount of Rs 5000 and now his portfolio worth is over 5000 crores. He is called as Indian Warren Buffett for his successful investments in stock market. He manages his own portfolio as a partner of Rare Enterprise.
As per Forbes, he is the 53rd richest person in India, with net worth of USD 2.4 Billion.
4. Naina Lal Kidwai
Naina Lal Kidwai was Country Head and Group General Manager of HSBC. She is also a former President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and has been conferred by Padma Sri by the Indian Government. She is the first Indian women to graduate from the Harvard University.
She is currently Chairman of Max Financial Services Ltd. Along with serving as the Chairman of HSBC Asset Management (India) Pvt Ltd and HSBC InvestDirect (India) Ltd,
5. Aditya Puri
Aditya Puri is the Managing Director of HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector bank. He assumed this position in September 1994, making him the longest-serving head of any private bank in the country. India Today magazine ranked him #24th in India’s 50 Most powerful people of 2017 list.
